Grass fed beef must be prepared a little differently then grain fed beef. Since the beef is so lean, it needs less time and a lower temperature for cooking. De thaw the beef before preparing. Place the frozen beef in the refrigerator a few hours or overnight before preparation. If you have less time, placing the frozen beef package in a bowl of hot water works great too. Less is more with grass fed as far as marinade goes. Worcestershire Sauce, light olive oil or water are best. Any spice works great, from sea salt & pepper to All Spice. We found minimal spices work best to enjoy the fantastic flavor. We list other helpful recipe related websites on our How to Order page.

Another helpful tip we found while preparing grass-fed beef is to add veggies. Onions, peppers and or tomatoes work well. We've also made burgers with apple slices. Very tasty!
